The Cross of Christ - The Best of Our Love
John 19:25-27 (Pew Bible page 1684)
The Choice:
- Jesus chose John.
- Disciple whom Jesus loved.
Courage:
- Stand up to fear.
- Refused to be quiet.
Compassion:
- Outpouring of sympathy.
- Ministry of presence.
Commitment:
- Doing what you said you would do.
- In spite of danger.
- Follow through on your promises.
Taking Up The Mantle:
- Not perfect.
- Became faithful.
- Christ receives the best of our love!
