Here Comes The Critics:
* 3 sources of ridicule.
* How does Jesus respond to his tormentors?
Forgives Those Who Hurt God (vv39-40):
* Jesus is not shakened.
* Prays for forgiveness.
* Petition for mercy.
Frustrates Those Who Harden Themselves (vv41-43):
* Wanted to provoke him.
* They had hardened their hearts.
* Sheep know Jesus’ voice.
Favors Those Who Honor Him (Luke 23:39-43):
* A saved criminal.
* A scornful criminal.
* Christ honors those who call on his name.
Worshipping The King:
* Not the Pied Piper.
* His mission was salvation.
* Worship crucified King.
